The town of Tromsø, famously used as the Gateway to the Arctic by all the famous Polar explorers, is the perfect starting point for accessing all the Arctic has to offer. This journey packs in the Northern Lights, the thrill of a dog sledding ride, the wonder of the Sami culture and their reindeer, and last but not least; coming face to face with the magnificent Arctic Wolves! All this, while travelling through magnificent Arctic landscapes and enjoying locally sourced food along the way! Once back in Tromsø, you can enjoy tasty delights in the many excellent restaurants and cafes in Tromsø or simply wander along the quay and enjoy the vibe in what the Financial Times recently called “The New Reykjavik!”.

For a whole new level of Arctic, you can choose to add a visit inside the wolf enclosure to get right in amongst a pack of rare wolves raised with their keepers in order to welcome humans.

After finding the ideal scenic backdrop and conditions for photos, your professional guides will help you with camera settings and photography to get the best shots of the Northern Lights.
After around two hours, there will be a break at an exclusive Aurora Camp out in the wilderness. These camps have two comfortable lavvos (Sami tents) and toilet facilities. You will be divided into groups of no more than 20 people in each lavvo and served hot drinks. Listen to enchanting Arctic stories while grilling your own supper on an open fire.
