Explore Trondheim. We recommend hiring a car as you can then either visit Munkolmen, drive through the road to Molde or go north to Stokkøya. Otherwise we would suggest exploring the sights locally in Trondheim such as:
- Old Town Bridge (7 minute walk)
- Nidaros Cathedral (9 minute walk)
- Kristiansten Fortress (15 minute walk)

*Norwegian Airlines flies direct from Gatwick and lands in Trondheim. Tuesday departures arrive in Trondheim at 20:15, Thursdays at 21:10 and Sunday at 18:30. Returning flights arrive in Gatwick on Tuesdays at 22:30, Thursdays at 23:25 and Sundays at 20:45. Want to combine the trip with other flights? Please check the flights when booking. Contact us if you cannot find your preferred departure airport and we will accommodate your transfers. **Bring a warm hat, gloves, and scarf, thermal wool or similar long johns and underwear as well as warm winter boots and socks. We recommend you also bring Gortex trousers and a Gortex or down jacket.
