Just 40 minutes from downtown Tromsø is this remote husky farm, beautifully situated in the Arctic valley landscape. The view of the Lyngen Alps combined with the fjords is second to none, making this safari a genuine Northern Norwegian Arctic experience.
You will be greeted by 120 happy Alaskan huskies waiting for you to run and cuddle afterward! Drive your own team of dogs through the scenic landscape. We provide warm thermal suits, winter boots, and gloves to keep you warm during the dog sledding adventure.
After short safety and driving instructions on how to handle the dogs and sleds, each team will set off with two people sharing. One is the musher or driver and the other sits in the sled taking pictures. You will have the opportunity to swap places halfway through the trip.

19:00 Northern Lights Safari to an Aurora Camp
Tromsø has long been known as one of the best locations to experience the Northern Lights. This tour is ideal for those wanting a comfortable, high-quality experience. Designed to maximise your chances of seeing the Northern Lights. The hunt begins from Tromsø and takes you into the wild by coach with a stop at an Aurora Camp.
The Northern Lights coach will pick you up from Tromsø town centre and take you to a location with the best weather & solar conditions for spotting the Northern Lights. After finding the ideal scenic backdrop and conditions for photos, your professional guides will help you with camera settings and photography to get the best shots of the Northern Lights.
After around two hours, there will be a break at an exclusive Aurora Camp out in the wilderness. These camps have two comfortable lavvos (Sami tents) and toilet facilities. You will be divided into groups of no more than 20 people in each lavvo and served hot drinks. Listen to enchanting Arctic stories while grilling your own supper on an open fire.

9:00 Luxury Coach Departure to Polar Wildlife Park
Your luxury coach departs from Tromsø city centre to the Arctic wilderness, where you will see some amazing native Arctic wildlife. The Arctic Route coach is fully equipped with comfortable seats, refreshments offered onboard, charging outlets, and WiFi along this magnificent scenery.
12:00 Arrive at Polar Wildlife Park [OPTIONAL EXTRA: Wolf Encounter (Wednesday departures only)]
Polar Wildlife Park is the world’s northernmost animal park & arctic wildlife centre. Arctic Animals you’ll see in winter include wolves, lynx, moose, and muskox. They look especially great in their natural habitat with thick winter coats! These predators live in wilderness enclosures with massive spaces to roam, so you may need the full three hours to see all of them.
OPTIONAL EXTRA: 12:00 Arctic Wolf Close Encounter (Wednesday departures only, must be requested when booking. We will confirm availability in a separate e-mail)
For a whole new level of Arctic Animals, you can choose to add a visit inside the wolf enclosure to get right in amongst a pack of rare wolves raised with their keepers in order to welcome humans.

Your luxury coach departs from Polar Wildlife Park to Tromsø for your final night. On arrival back to Tromsø, kick back and relax with some fine dining and city scenes or a Northern Lights Cable Car excursion

Get ready for an evening like no other. With your guide, head up the famous cable car of Tromsø for a welcome drink at dizzying heights overlooking the island and mountains of Tromsø. This is the perfect spot for seeing the Northern Lights and taking in the sights from the high panoramic viewpoint.
Enjoy a locally sourced Norwegian salmon or reindeer burger in the mountain lodge next door as you learn more about the Northern Lights, Tromsø, and the surrounding area. Your Northern Lights watchman will alert you to the Northern Lights, so that you can view them outside the mountain restaurant away from light pollution. Here, you can truly appreciate the endless snow, mountains, and the mystical Northern Lights.

Are you ready for a cruise in the amazing winter fjords of Northern Norway? Wildlife, fishing, aquaculture, local villages, and magnificent Arctic landscapes await you on this fantastic experience.
From late October to mid-February, some of the world’s largest mammals visit the coast outside Tromsø to feed on herrings. The most common whale species we see are the humpback whale, killer whale (orca), harbour porpoise and sometimes even the fin whale. You are invited to come on board to get a close-up view of the feast!
